An * denotes I (still) own the game. Bold means the title is still a popular game to play online.

Any online games and apps not listed already had support cut.

Of the games listed I’m most bothered by no longer being able to play Brawl online. The DS Pokemon games require an internet connection to access the Global Trade Station (GTS) in addition to trading and battling people. Support being cut renders Pokemon Generator Apps useless and I suspect that is the main reason online support is being cut. I only just learned such Apps for the iOS and Android exist but yeah.

I’m hoping Nintendo puts out a statement or clarifies the announcement in the next few days to at least continue support for the Pokemon Games, Mario Kart DS/Wii and Brawl at least. I have two 3DS consoles so I can stil trade between my DS Pokemon games but this royally screws over those who have just one 3DS or DS console and relies on Online support in their Pokemon games.

Yeah, the writing was on the wall but it still is a shame.
